The Critical Communications Association (TCCA), the global authority on standardised critical communications technologies, today announced the launch of its first-ever Critical Communications Asia event. Scheduled for 22–23 April 2026 at the Shangri-La Kowloon, Hong Kong, the landmark gathering will unite industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders from across the Asia-Pacific region to explore the future of mission-critical and business-critical communications.
Hong Kong, a city renowned for its technological innovation and strategic location, has previously hosted two highly successful editions of Critical Communications World (CCW). Building on that legacy, Critical Communications Asia will serve as a dedicated platform for regional stakeholders to exchange knowledge, showcase cutting-edge solutions, and address the unique challenges and opportunities in Asia’s rapidly evolving communications landscape.
“The Asian region is a significant market for critical communications and, as in other regions, critical industries are working towards augmenting well-established narrowband networks with critical broadband capability,” said Kevin Graham, CEO, TCCA. “Hong Kong is an excellent central location to gather stakeholders from across Asia to exchange information, share international experience and expertise, and understand the future directions of all standards-based critical communications solutions.”
Event Highlights:
Keynote Presentations & Panels – Expert-led discussions on the latest trends, standards, and real-world applications in public safety, transport, energy, and industrial sectors.
Interactive Sessions & Masterclasses – Deep dives into mission-critical broadband, LTE, 5G, and interworking solutions.
Regional & Global Perspectives – Opportunities to share best practices, explore interoperability, and drive adoption of standards-based technologies.
Networking Opportunities – Engage with global industry peers, solution providers, system integrators, operators, and government representatives.
The Asian critical communications market is diverse, with countries at different stages of technology adoption—from traditional narrowband to advanced broadband integration. This event will highlight the work of leading Asian companies alongside international partners, showcasing solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and operational resilience.
A TCCA spokesperson added: “Critical Communications Asia will bring global expertise to the North Asia community while amplifying Asia-Pacific perspectives on critical communications. Hong Kong, as a strategic gateway between China and the rest of Asia, is uniquely positioned to host this convergence of innovation, policy, and interoperability.”
