Airbus Public Safety and Security has officially introduced Agnet® Turnaround, a cutting-edge collaborative platform tailored for airport and ground handlers. The announcement took place at the Passenger Terminal Expo in Frankfurt, highlighting the platform's innovative approach to addressing the complexities of ground operations.

Airport infrastructure often grapples with challenges related to expandability, time management, operational efficiency, and capacity constraints. Managing ground operations exemplifies the intricate processes and interdependence among various stakeholders. In response to the growing demand for efficiency in aircraft turnaround operations, Airbus Public Safety and Security has developed Agnet Turnaround as a bespoke solution for airport and ground handlers.

At the heart of Agnet Turnaround lies the capability to efficiently reach pertinent individuals while simultaneously monitoring real-time operations and enhancing time-performance. The platform fosters real-time situational awareness of workflows, with automation playing a pivotal role in augmenting ground operational productivity. Features such as automatic group creation, alerts, and resource allocation contribute to streamlining processes and enhancing overall efficiency.

By integrating direct communication capabilities, Agnet Turnaround emerges as a crucial solution benefiting the entire airport ecosystem. It ensures not only operational safety but also enhances efficiency in airport turnaround processes, leading to improved punctuality, reduced environmental impact, increased air traffic capacity, and decreased operational costs.

Eric Davalo, Head of Strategic Development at Airbus Public Safety and Security, commented on the launch, stating, “With this launch, Airbus achieves a significant milestone by leveraging its extensive experience in secure communications to enable stakeholders within the airport industry to address challenges related to operational efficiencies and collective performance. This solution marks a significant step towards automation in airport operations.”
